The 5-inch all-metal model is made from numerous cast and milled metal parts. The metal is in excellent condition – no rust, tarnish or discoloration. The telescope is bolted to a 4x6-inch beveled wooden base with an engraved metal plaque reading: PERKIN ELMER, Optical Telescope Assembly, HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE.
