I am offering from my collection a Block 1 Apollo Power and Servo Assembly Encoder Module that was a flight spare for CM-017.From my research after recovery, CM-017 was returned to NAA in Downey, CA for decommissioning and as a part of this various systems were removed. The entire guidance and navigation system is missing and appears to have been sent back to the manufacturers for post flight testing.
Since this hardware belonged to the government it was sent back to NASA MSC where it wound up getting auctioned off by GSA. I have about three PSA modules that are stamped in yellow "Flight 501." As far as I can tell all the rest of the G&N system — with the exception of five of the six rope memories Which I have — wound up being sold as scrap.
This module is new in the packaging. I am asking $995 for this module. PayPal accepted at jimloocke@gmail.com.
