I'm potentially interested in purchasing an unsigned first edition, first printing of "Carrying the Fire" by Michael Collins (depending on price, of course). I'm looking for a clean copy with a dust jacket in respectable condition, and not price clipped.

If you have a copy you're willing to sell, please email me with photos, any imperfections with the book, and your asking price, with shipping. Thanks!

If you do an Advanced Search at AbeBooks, it looks like there are a couple of examples that may meet your criteria.

Thank you. Yes, I've looked at the offerings on AbeBooks and may end up going that route, but I thought I'd check here first, as I've always had good experiences purchasing from cS members.

I have purchased some fine used unsigned copies on Amazon as well. That's the first place I generally look.

Now you ask. I just unloaded five copies a couple of months ago, unsure of pressings, but 1st edition, 1st pressing hard to find of most any book from 1974.

I already have a first edition, second printing. I'm just looking to "upgrade" to a first printing.
