Inspired by the original 1978 class patch painted by Robert McCall in collaboration with Judy Resnik and Guy Bluford, this 40th anniversary commemorative celebrates the first group of space shuttle astronauts who helped change the course of space exploration.

I have been in contact with a number of the TFNGs and they have each remarked how much they liked the design and appreciate this tribute.
