I'm selling an Apollo 8 KSC PFR badge from the estate of a prominent member of the Saturn V launch team, Charles "Chuck" Henschel. Belonging to a member of the upper management team, the badge carries a very low serial number (#14). For reference, Kurt Debus' Apollo 8 PFR badge was serial #4. Henschel worked at KSC for 30 years before retiring in 1994. He joined NASA in 1964 as a test conductor and was the lead test supervisor for the first Saturn V launch, AS-501, and Apollo 14. He worked as a launch vehicle test
conductor for the Apollo program, test supervisor for the Saturn V program, NASA test supervisor for the Shuttle program and as a technical assistant for the Vehicle Processing Division. Asking $225. Will ship worldwide. FREE shipping in USA. Email for photos and supporting documentation. Thanks! |
