For sale, STS-103 hold-down stud frangible nut presented by Kennedy Space Center to Scott Kelly, the mission's pilot. This presentation was obtained from the estate of Richard Kelly, astronaut Scott Kelly's father. The display measures 9 inches by 8 inches by 4.5 inches tall. STS-103 was a Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission by space shuttle Discovery. The mission launched on Dec. 19, 1999 and returned on Dec. 27, 1999. The crew included Curt Brown, Scott Kelly, John Grunsfeld, Jean-François Clervoy, Michael Foale, Steve Smith and Claude Nicollier. Update: SOLD. | |
