Put up yesterday on eBay – in case the link doesn't work it's eBay seller Mrbatron. Some spectacular test flight items and one air race item out of this world!! - A pair of unsigned Apollo 15 lithos – one a crew litho with autopen signatures of Scott and Irwin.
- Guenter Wendt with the Apollo 14 crew signed.
- A Skylab 2/3 press photo (repro) of the crew post landing with their wives in Pioneer Women garb, signed by Lousma, his wife and Chris Kraft.
- Shannon Lucid, record setting astronaut, signed color portrait
- An XB-70 patch – type worn on flight suits by the pilots.
- Northrop Flying Wings – a softcover book about the Wings, signed by Cardenas and 1st flight copilot of the XB-35 and YB-49. HOWEVER! On the title page Fred Bretcher (deceased) has attached a sticky note outlining his displeasure with this publication. AND, Cardenas had added notes in red ink throughout correcting and pointing out things. THIS is seriously sweet!
- A FLOWN Convair XB-58 1st flight cover, cacheted with First Flight and Flown info. Signed by Beryl Erickson (deceased), the chief test pilot, and Flight Test Engineer Charlie Harrison, who added flown information. Provenance like you cannot believe!!!
As always – thanks for looking and never hesitate to email me with questions! | |
