Many of us fondly remember collector Mike Zolotorow. Perhaps there wasn't a nicer, more enthusiastic space collector than Mike. After many years of serious health problems, Mike passed away about two years ago, followed by his son, Craig, about a year ago.
Mike's widow, Phyllis, was left with Mike's impressive collection and efforts will be made later to sell much of that for Phyllis.
Mike's final astronaut autographs arrived in the mail a few weeks ago, as cosmonaut Richard Garriott responded after over two years to one of Mike's last autograph requests before he passed away.
Phyllis sent the material to me as a gift, but I'd like to sell them and give her the money. So available to the highest offer is the following:
- 3.5 x 4" Soyuz TMA-13 crew patch
- 8x10" autographed color photo of Garriott
- 8x10 color photo of the earth from Soyuz TMA-13, signed with 'Soyuz TMA13" added by Garriott.
- Photo looking outside the Soyuz with the earth below and the ISS in the distance, and signed with "Soyuz TMA13."
Scans are available.I'd prefer to sell all four items together to keep this from being too complicated.
Unfortunately, all three photos received a crease at top left of about 3", but are barely noticeable and don't effect the autographs.
