I was given this Bandai ISS Space Suit Extravehicular Mobility Unit model for Christmas as a present and during building the model I broke two parts.I could have lived with the model as it was, as the damaged part, which was behind the MMU, was not seen when the model was completed and also the lever on the tool was not that noticeable, only to me. But I am a perfectionist and this is where the expense came into it.
I then went and bought a new one from Japan through Amazon at a cost of £68.38 including postage so I could take out the pieces that I needed, which I have now done. I now have a brand new model unbuilt ready to sell.
The plastic piece for the MMU I have now glued back together and has been put back in the kit ready to be built by whoever buys this and the only thing that is missing is the lever on one side of the tool.
I have tried to show this in the following pics of the one I have built and as you can see this model when built is truly outstanding and worthy of anyone's space collection and also one of the easiest models I have ever built even though the instructions are in Japanese. If I can build this then anyone can.
So it has cost me £68.38 to replace two parts and I now want to sell this unbuilt model to someone in the UK. Due to the size of the box I am going to say the P&P would be around £12.50 within the UK so I am looking for sensible offers excluding P&P please. Any questions then just ask.
