I'm looking for photos of Al Worden during the Apollo 15 mission for him to autograph but have not found any. Can someone help me?

I'm not aware of any on board shots of Worden during the mission, I think the closest you will find is shots from his EVA. There are some really nice shots of him during training though.

During the mission? There aren't any! His crewmates didn't take a single inflight shot of him that I can gather.

There is that film still of him during the EVA. The best I have been able to do otherwise is to get stills from the TV coverage. Some are in the "Falling To Earth" book, and the best four that I could gather are linked on this page, including an inflight TV image of Al inside the Command Module.

Thanks! I was afraid that was the case. And everyone rags Buzz for not taking pictures of Neil

Enjoying "Falling from Earth" even more the second time!

Great to hear! And if you look at P.215-216 of Falling To Earth, you'll see Al's words on the lack of photos of him, including what -erm - angle they got of him in that one shot...

Where did the photo come from that is on the front book cover? I don't see it in the Apollo image gallery.

It's a training photo, Mel. Let me find a link for you. It is a great shot and would be very nice for signing. It beat out the original choice (Al's Earthrise shot) when the publisher decided what to go with.
