Farthest Reaches has just posted the first of a wide variety of Scott Carpenter artifacts and memorabilia to his page under "Astro Artifacts" accessible from FarthestReaches.com.The first three items are only just the beginning. There are personal effects, military/aviation, NASA and Sealab related items. Included are badges, awards, letters, covers, photos, hard goods (signed wet suit, Sealab khakis and shirt, Randall Knives, medallions, medals, books, loads of NASA vintage paper and much much more). Many items are signed and run the gamut from $50 - $30,000 so there will be something to fit almost any budget. The first three items have just been posted and they are: - "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe - dedicated to Scott by the author with a full page inscription.
- "John Glenn: A Memoir" by John Glenn - dedicated to Scott by his great friend with a personal inscription.
- "We Seven" by the Astronauts themselves - lovingly dedicated to Scott Carpenter's father by Scott and authentically hand signed by all seven. This book signed by all seven is EXTREMELY hard to come by. A very prime item.
More will be added this weekend and every day or so for some time to come. Please stop by to browse or better, to order if so inclined. Thanks to all for your ongoing support. |

Several new items have been added to this page and others to be added later today. I also came across some very nicely hand signed Harcourt bookplates. These are ideal for laying into copies of "For Spacious Skies" but can certainly be used for other purposes as well. They have not been posted to Scott's Memorabilia page but are available for $40 each. I have several to offer. Please email if interested. |

A number of new items have just been added to the Scott Carpenter Artifacts page. Included are some extremely rare, historically significant and in a few cases absolutely unique Project Mercury vintage letters, memorandums and NASA internal booklets. Some books and hand signed covers have also been added. I invite you to take a look by visiting Farthest Reaches and click into "Astronaut Artifacts" from the home page. Thanks as always for your continued support. | |
