Here is the chance of a lifetime to own a gem mint copy of the super desirable signed Neil Armstrong Paul Calle print. This print was just obtained from Reeve Lindbergh (yes - the daughter of Charles A. and Anne Morrow Lindbergh). I made a hefty contribution to the Lindbergh Foundation (where she is the Honorary Chair). She was kind enough to send me a beautiful signed personal letter thanking me for my contribution as well as stating the details of when and where this piece was signed. This piece was one of only two left in the hands of the Lindbergh Foundation. It has never seen the light of day nor been touched by a collector or such - it has remained in storage since the original signing. As you know - there were 1,000 signed pieces produced of this extremely rare and desirable edition. It is boldly signed in pencil by both Neil Armstrong and the artist Paul Calle. This piece does not have a number assigned to it as it was one of a handful of additional prints that was signed and given to the Lindbergh Foundation. According to Chris Calle, son of the late master Paul Calle, these few prints were initially to be to be used as a replacement if Neil or Paul made a mistake in the tedious process of signing 1,000 copies. The print has just been treated to a museum conservation black framing treatment and includes the best Tru-Vue Museum glass on the market and the highest quality acid free grey and black mats available. The beautiful part about the framing is that when done with conservation techniques - the print can always be removed without any damage whatsoever to it. It is not mounted or taped or anything like that. Conservation Grade UV ProtectionMuseum GlassĀ® anti-reflection picture framing glass with Conservation Grade UV Protection is the best glazing option available for art, photographs and other important personal keepsakes. Along with its nearly invisible finish, it effectively blocks up to 99% of harmful indoor and outdoor UV light rays so framed pieces remain clearer and brighter for longer. I contributed a large amount of money to the Lindbergh Foundation and spent a small fortune on the framing treatment but it is worth it. Please note that this incredible find is not inexpensive nor do I need to sell it now. I am making it available to anyone who might be interested. This piece is for the advanced space collector who only wants the very best out there. If you are truly interested in this magnificent piece - please email me directly at randy_kaplan@yahoo.com or feel free to text me at (516) 639-6137. I will be happy to send scans to you. |

Randy sent me photos of the piece. He is selling a beautiful example; as good as it gets but sadly too rich for me. If money were no object I'd have it off him in the blink of an eye. |

We see so many of these that have regrettably been stored poorly... water stained or with foxing.Nice to see this has been perfectly preserved and will stay that way for generations. I'm envious of the lucky person who ends up owning this one. |

I was at the National Air and Space Museum shortly after it opened in 1976. I recall seeing these prints for $100 dollars and really wanted one. But one hundred dollars seemed like a lot of cash back then for a 17 year old. Who Knew? |
