For Sale: Apollo 8 flown metal medal. I'm not an expert on medals, so I won't use the term "mint," but this medal is in immaculate condition.

Appears to have been stored in the gold mesh bag it's pictured in for many years. Don't know if the bag is what it came in originally. I have never opened the bag or removed the coin.

It appears to be without scuffs, scratches or other damage from handling that might detract from it.

Carries the inscription: "In Appreciation For Your Contribution To The Apollo Saturn Project The Apollo 8 Crew Carried Metal In This Medallion On Man's First Flight To The Moon."

Asking $65. I'll pay the postage within the United States.

I'll knock this down to $50 if anyone's interested. And I'll still pay the shipping.

These generally sell for $10 to $20 on eBay, though the gold bag is unique.

Wow! That little. Wish I hadn't started this thread now! Really not worth messing with. I found one on eBay for $50, but now I wonder if it sold or if that was the ask.

It was the ask. I bought mine on eBay for about $15.
