Years ago I bought several pieces of flown ASTP Kapton from Ken Havekotte. Along with the Kapton, Ken provided me with a certificate of authenticity.

I cut the Kapton into 1/2 x 1/4" pieces and attached them to 3x4" copies of Ken's COA. I've been selling these very successfully on eBay. Most recently three of them sold for $49.95, $50 and $51.

Here is a sample of these certificates:

Now, I'd like to raise some much needed funds for our non-profit dog rescue sanctuary, AuntMarysDoghouse.com.

So, if you'll donate $20 to Aunt Mary's Doghouse, I'll send you one of these certificates with flown ASTP Kapton, exactly like the ones I sell on eBay for much more. I'll even cover shipping costs anywhere in the world.

Here's what to do:

  1. go to AuntMarysDoghouse.com
  2. click on the "Donate" button on the left
  3. make a $20 donation
  4. email a copy of your receipt to me at Paul@Hartunian.com along with the name and address where you'd like me to send the certificate.
If you'd like more than one, just donate $20 for each extra one you'd like.

I'm also selling many collectibles on eBay, including many space collectibles, with 100% of the proceeds going to Aunt Mary's Doghouse. My eBay user ID is prpropaul

Thanks for your support. We and the dogs appreciate your generosity.

Can you advise the source material for your Apollo 11 display which is pro-ported to contain a piece of Apollo 11 parachute main canopy? Both directly in my correspondence with members of the Apollo 11 recovery team as well as an author who has done extensive research and wrote a book on the Hornet recovery operations it was disclosed that none of the 3 main parachutes were recovered (they sank almost immediately) ...

This piece comes with a copy of the original COA stating that Charles Belcher, one of the recovery team members, removed part of the main parachute cord during recovery of Apollo 11. That's where the fragment in this display came form.

Thanks for the question.

Acknowledged. So this is remnant suspension line perhaps ensnared around the CM vice part of the canopy itself ...still doesn't invalidate reports that the mains were not recovered.

Got it, thank you. I'll put your ASTP Kapton in the mail in the morning, plus I'm going to add a little extra surprise gift.

We all appreciate your donation.
