The fifth in my series of my Grumman Lunar Module patches (as discussed in this thread) is now finally ready: LM-7, better known as the Apollo 13 Lunar Module "Aquarius".

The patch is fullly-embroidered and measures 4 x 4 7/8" (104 x 124mm).

If you want to buy one of these patches please go to the Replica Store page of my CrewPatches.com site.

As before, worldwide delivery of this patch is included for free as an introductory offer.

WOW! That is a nice piece of work on one of the most difficult patch designs - congratulations!

I ordered two of these patches earlier today (Chris, was I the first?)

The LM-7 decal/patch is absolutely my favorite of the series!

This was always going to be the most difficult patch to translate into embroidered form with a palette of 8 colors.

I've seen a previous attempt at this from the 90s which was a disaster, but AB's artists did great work here. I went through quite a few versions trying to get the color balance right and tweaking the details - the final version has lighter shadows in the background mountainscape than the original artwork but this was a compromise I had to accept to make it work as a patch.

By the way Randy - nice try, but 7th place for you I'm afraid.

All times are CT (US)
