Almost silently two space stamp blocks from China have turned into the most expensive and valuable space stamps there are today.

We are not speaking of dubious non issued, fantasy, overprinted or other error stamps that usually attract only a small crowd of collectors and are not fundamentally supported by a large market but a regular issue of a stamp block.

These two stamp blocks were issued in 1978 and 1979 back then at around $1-$2 each and have climbed in price (NOT catalog value) to the 1000x of it's original selling price. A simple ebay check confirms these are sold by dozens each month with a phenomenal price increase of 100% each year for the last 10 years!

China's stamp market is by far the hottest in the world with yearly price increases of 100% or more for selected stamps and blocks.
