This is a limited edition (#55/150) print by Lumen Winter and signed in pencil by Lovell, Haise and Swigert. It measures approx 23.5" x 35" and is mint (never hung).
The outline idea for the Apollo 13 patch came from Jim Lovell. He gave this idea to an artist in NY named Lumen Winter, and he eventually came up with the three horse design which symbolized Apollo but also included the Earth and the Moon. Prior to making the patch, Winter made a large wall mural of horses crossing the sky with the Earth below - this is now in the Lovell restaurant.
