Greetings fans and friends!

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support. Together we've raised $144,000 for Mojave area charities! The main checks for each charity organization were issued two weeks ago at a ceremony on the Mojave Airport, with Burt Rutan in attendance and Tonya Rutan presiding over the formalities. We currently have three things to tell you about:

  1. Website wind-down and Boosters closure

  2. Flown merchandise auctions

  3. New mailing list for SS1 and related goodies

1. Website wind-down

Our volunteer operation has run its course and will be coming to a close in March. If you would like any additional SpaceShipOne merchandise from The Rocketboosters, you'll need to get your order in by the 15th. As you have probably noticed we have been selling out of merchandise and no longer have certain sizes of apparel available. Any item sold out will not be replaced. We will be ending our website operations on March 15, and closing down entirely on March 30. It's not too late to get more calendars, patches and pins and more, but once they're gone, they're gone!

2. Flown merchandise auction announcement!

The Rocketboosters will be auctioning two flown STAR WARS extra large plush action figures on Ebay! This pair of dolls, Obi-Wan kenobi and Luke Skywalker were flown aboard the final winning X-Prize Flight piloted by Brian Binnie, and are signed by Burt Rutan and the pilots! Each figure comes with a notarized certificate of authenticity and photographs of the dolls in and around SS1 and being removed from the ballast box after the flight by Burt himself. The two dolls will be auctioned separately one after the other. We will send a notice when each item becomes listed. Proceeds from the auction, like everything else we do, will go directly to charity.

3. New mailing list for other SS1 and related collectibles

Although the Rocketboosters merchandise will be coming to an end (and will become highly collectible!) there are some other SpaceShipOne-related products in the works by other parties. If you wish to be informed of these efforts, please click the following link to sign up for the Mojave Space Memorabilia Mailing List: http://www.mojaveairandspace.org/

Disclaimer: The Rocketboosters are not affiliated with this new website.

Stay tuned for auction announcements!
