San Diego Air & Space Museum release The Legacy of Apollo: Through the Eyes of the Pioneers Who Were There, for Those Who Dream of the FutureA Black-Tie Gala Honoring the Pioneers of Deep Space Exploration Join us May 31, 2025, for an unforgettable evening at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, when history meets the future in a night of storytelling, inspiration and celebration.  This exclusive black-tie gala features legendary Apollo 16 Moonwalker Charlie Duke and renowned NASA Apollo Flight Director Gerry Griffin — two icons whose leadership and courage defined the golden age of space exploration. Together, they'll take us on a journey through the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs — missions defining what is possible, laying the foundation for humanity's next great adventures into space. Through the voices of those who were there, The Legacy of Apollo honors the past and looks into the future of space travel — from the Moon to Mars and beyond. Additional legendary guests to be announced. Be part of this extraordinary evening as we celebrate the pioneers who dared to dream and who inspire the next generation of space explorers. The San Diego Air & Space Museum has announced that in addition to Charlie Duke and Gerry Griffin, as previously named, Fred Haise, Rusty Scweickart, Gene Kranz and Milt Windler will be joining "The Legacy of Apollo" gala. |
