Delighted to announce that we have secured former NASA astronaut Dr Donald A. Thomas for a series of U.K based events in June 2024. Don has been a frequent visitor to the U.K. in previous years and never fails to excite and enthuse audiences of all ages.Just launched our new 'Astronaut Events' website. With the blessing of the great Ken Willoughby of 'Space Lectures' fame we have secured the Wentbridge House Hotel, Pontefract for two days. This will include both an evening dinner event on 07 June 2024 and a daytime lecture event on Saturday 08 June 2024. A further public event is to be finalized. Trade stands and photoshoot sessions will be available at each event. School visits in various parts of the U.K are being organized/finalized now too. Please join us in making this the first of many events with attending space professionals in the Pontefract area. |

Great to hear that space events are returning to Pontefract and The Wentbridge House Hotel.While this may not be a Space Lectures event, I know many of the old Space Lectures team will be in attendance, supporting Nick and Bryar in any way possible. This is not Nick and Bryar's first rodeo. They have a history of successful astronaut encounters and I'm quite certain Don Thomas will be no different. I look forward to seeing many friends again in June. Bring it on! |

This is excellent news and will be a very welcome return to an Astronaut Events event. The last one I went to was Winston Scott and it'll be great to meet up with Nick and Bryan as well as Don Thomas again. Room all booked and can't wait. This event needs good support as it's the only astronaut event in town (UK). |

We have purchased two tickets for the dinner and the lecture, so looking forward to seeing an astronaut in the UK again. Great work Nick and Bryar. |

A day of activities with former astronaut Don Thomas is now scheduled for 9th June 2024 at the National Space Centre, Leicester. Please check it out. A link has been provided in the 'Sightings' section.Also, pleased to announce three schools are now on board with us and this includes two daytime events and one evening event. |
