Okay Space Collectors and Enthusiasts: Theresa and I hope to see a lot of people at the space memorabilia show on Saturday, Aug. 12th, at the Cape's Sands Space History Center. We'll be operating our vendor tables from 10 am to about 3 pm and look forward to a fun "space day." It's going to be a hot day outside on the Florida Space Coast, so everyone can stay more inside our show building and enjoy the cool air conditioning all day long. There is no charge for admittance. Let us know if anyone has a specific request in seeing space categories and items so that I can do my best in having them there. We are expecting several space folks in dropping over that we know are planning to attend, some even from the Orlando, Palm Coast, Melbourne, Titusville, and other outside areas. |

What a great space show yesterday at the Cape's Sands Space History Center with a record number of attendees. With so many people arriving early, the front doors were opened 45-minutes before the scheduled 10 am opening time. For the first three hours of the show sale our tables had dozens and dozens of space collectors and enthusiasts lined up at a non-stop pace (no time at first for even a lunch break for us). We had folks visiting from Canada (just to see us), Brazil, Germany, other states, and all throughout Florida. Several on-the-spot space memorabilia appraisals were conducted as well. It was a fun "space day" for all with a vast variety of space memorabilia to enjoy. It's always great in seeing so many friends and having the opportunity in meeting new folks. We appreciate everyone in stopping by and our thanks to the staff and volunteer workers of the Sands Space History Center and the U.S. Space Force Historical Foundation. We're ready for the next show!!! | |
