Space Consult release
Astronaut Claude Nicollier visits Europe's biggest exhibition for human spaceflight 'Apollo and Beyond' at Technik Museum Speyer, Germany

Space Consult and Technik Museum Speyer in cooperation with ArtifactCloud will host a visit to Germany for space shuttle astronaut Claude Nicollier.

Claude Nicollier is the only European astronaut with four spaceflights. From 1992 to 1999 he flew on four of the five U,S. space shuttle orbiters: Atlantis (STS-46), Endeavour (STS-61), Columbia (STS-75) and Discovery (STS-103). He will be the 43rd astronaut/cosmonaut to visit the exhibition "Apollo and Beyond" at the Technik Museum Speyer since the grand opening on Oct. 2, 2008. This will be one of the highlights in the museum's history and we feel privileged Claude Nicollier has chosen us to spend some memorable days in Germany.

Honoring the 25th anniversary of Nicollier's first mission STS-46 in 1992 and especially his two flights to the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) you can see and meet Claude Nicollier in-person.

Official public event Nov. 25, 2017 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. local time at the fantastic setting of Europe's biggest exhibition for human spaceflight "Apollo and Beyond" at the Technik Museum Speyer, Germany. He will give a lecture: The four space shuttle missions, with emphasis on the Hubble servicing missions STS-61 and STS-103. After the lecture we will have a Q&A for the audience. Afterwards we will have a autograph session from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the space hall.

You only need a museum ticket at 16,00 Euro per person to attend the lecture in the FORUM of the museum. The lecture will be only in German language.

Contact us directly for further information and terms about the lecture. The event is limited to only 350 people (available seats) in the Forum – first come first serve.

All times are CT (US)
