Space Consult and ArtifactCloud press release
Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov visits Europe's biggest exhibition for human space flight 'Apollo and Beyond' at Technik Museum Speyer, Germany

Space Consult and Technik Museum Speyer will host a visit to Germany in cooperation with ArtifactCloud for Alexei Leonov including a private mail-in signing.

82-year old Alexei Leonov is the last living "first in space" legend in one row with Yuri Gagarin (first spaceflight) and Neil Armstrong (first moonwalk). Obviously this opportunity represents the highlight for the Technik Museum Speyer this year and we feel privileged Leonov has chosen us to spend some memorable days in Germany.

Honoring the 52nd anniversary of Leonov's first spacewalk and 42 years of the first international docking in space (ASTP) to see and meet Alexei Leonov in-person:

Official public event April 8 July 8, 2017 at 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. local time at the fantastic setting of Europe's biggest exhibition for human space flight "Apollo and Beyond" at Technik Museum Speyer, Germany with a lecture of his two space missions and Q&A discussion with Alexei Leonov. No autograph session there.

Only a museum ticket at 16,00 Euro per person is needed to attend the lecture in the forum of the museum. The lecture will be in Russian language with German translation by interpreter.

Contact us directly for further information and terms about the lecture. The event is limited to only 350 people (available seats) in the forum – first come first serve.

The lecture of cosmonaut Alexei Leonov on April 8, 2017 at the Technik Museum Speyer will be postponed to July 8, 2017. Alexei Leonov is short term on an important business trip with President Vladimir Putin and cannot travel to Germany in early April. "He is is really sorry, but it's his citizen duty to follow the president of the country command," he had communicated to us.

His lecture will now take place on July 8, 2017. There is more information coming soon on the museum's website in the calendar of events and on this forum.

Any news? Alexei Leonov was unable to attend Starmus so I was wondering whether he has recovered and will be able to visit Speyer.

The museum earlier noted on its website that the event had been canceled.

Thanks Robert, missed that. Although I suspected as much. Hopefully Alexei Leonov will soon recover fully.
