Just returned from EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh and it was a great time. Got to meet astronauts Kent Rominger, Charlie Precourt, Janet Kavandi and Mike Hopkins. Ken Cockrell was also scheduled to attend, but couldn't make the event.
The only bad thing was that I wasn't able to obtain an autograph from astronaut Mike Hopkins due to Boeing's rules. Other Boeing personnel and pilots were doing autographs, but none with the astronaut.
Also, got to meet some women pilots that I got photos with and autographs. Also, got to meet up with another collectSPACE member at the event.
Another highlight was meeting Charles and Jenna Resnik (Judy's brother and niece), and Sheila Sharp who works for the Boeing SLS program. Met many new friends and great NASA employees at the NASA pavilion as well. Great time!
