California Science Center release
Space Fest 2015

October 30 - November 1; Free Admission
California Science Center, Los Angeles

Join us for Space Fest, a three-day festival at the California Science Center featuring NASA exhibits, displays and educational demonstrations honoring aeronautics and space explorations past, present and future. Visitors to Space Fest will learn about current NASA research missions, future space travel and NASA involvement in enhancing aeronautics.

All events and experiences take place in the Loker Conference Center located on the 1st floor of the Science Center.

Space and Flight Presentations

Join accomplished pilots, scientists, and an astronaut to hear about their experiences in flight and the future of space travel.

Three Nights, Three Days Film Screenings

An exciting documentary that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the monumental feat of moving Endeavour through the streets of Los Angeles and Inglewood. (Run time: 24 minutes)

NASA Experiences

NASA's exhibits will highlight current and future missions in aeronautics, Earth, the International Space Station, Mars, our solar system, and beyond. Complete your passport by visiting all of NASA's exhibits to collect special rewards at each table.

  • Explore Mars to unlock the secrets of the Red Planet!
  • Check out models of cool NASA aircraft and spacecraft. We're with you when you fly!
  • Take your photo in a Space Suit! Picture yourself as a NASA Astronaut ready to conduct a spacewalk outside the International Space Station or on Mars.
  • Discover how NASA and its commercial partners will take crews to the International Space Station.
  • Search for life with NASA's missions on Mars, the Moons of Saturn, and beyond!
  • Picture yourself as a pilot in four high altitude pressure suit cutouts.
  • Visit the aeronautics model case and learn about the next gen aircraft.
