I remember Shepard's flight, but I don't remember Gagarin's. I vaguely recall my dad and other folks talking about a Russian "flying" over the US. It all seems so long ago. |

I haven't read Vix Southgate's book yet, but I thought that the beginning of this video interview was one of the best summaries of Gagarin's personality and life I have heard in this week of coverage. |
