NASA Alumni League-JSC Chapter notice
NAL Meeting Announcement -- Members and Non Members are invited to hear Joe Engle discuss "Your X-15: Its Heritage And Legacy"

The NASA Alumni League-JSC Chapter will hold its spring social and dinner on Thursday, May 14, 2009, in the Alamo Ballroom at the Gilruth Recreation Center (note - the Ballroom is downstairs).

We will have a social period with a cash bar and complimentary cheese tray from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. The menu is BBQ (brisket and sausage) with slaw, potato salad, beans, Texas toast, relish tray, peach cobbler, and coffee/tea.

The program, featuring retired NASA test pilot and astronaut, Joe Engle, will begin at 7:30 p.m. The title of the presentation is "Your X-15: Its Heritage and Legacy".

The cost is $18 for NAL members and their spouses, and $20 for non-NAL members. Reservations are required by noon, Friday, May 8. If your plans change please try to cancel before the May 8 reservation deadline. Because we guarantee the headcount we have to bill "no-shows" unless the walk-ins make up the shortfall. You can make reservations by contacting Norman Chaffee, Secretary, at chaffee.norman@att.net or by calling Norm at 713-944-2461.

All times are CT (US)
