Whilst NASA are ahead of the curve with their Mach 7 scramjet, it's nice to see that Europe hasn't been left too far behind in the speed stakes:

Presumably they had to mail him the ticket because, at that speed, he couldn't hear the sirens when they tried to pull him over.
