Are the cops going to question Major Dan West to see if he killed Dr. Smith? |

One more thought about LOST IN SPACE. I don't think they would be able to make a TV show like that today. The only human relationship was between Dr. Smith and Will Robinson, a middle aged gay man and a little boy. Clearly outer space dose strange things to people. |

A fond farewell to Jonathan Harris, one of the nicest bad guys on TV. He really took a nasty, evil charactor, and made him loveable. Before we loved to hate JR, there was the sinister Dr. Smith. He made the show run. If we didn't have Dr. Smith to plot, plan, and have plans fall apart, we would have had no long lasting Lost in Space. After all, Will could only get into so much trouble. God Speed Jonathan, perhaps now your aching back will find some blessed releaf!Ed

I think my favorite name that Dr. Smith called the robot was "You bubble headed booby!" I thought Dr. Smith made the show as good as it was. |

Back then, when I was a young tike watching "Lost in Space", there was no such thing as a "gay man". Was there?? But Penny ....now she was hot! Dave |

oh, Dave -- man o' man, are we of the same mind. Penny was indeed hot, but I really fell for Judy Robinson, played by Marta Kristen. Rich |

I want to bid a fond farwell to Jonathan Harris, one of the nicest bad guys on TV. Before we loved to hate JR, there was the sinister Dr. Smith. Mr. Harris is one of the few actors that could safely use a guest star charactor to hijack a TV series, and make it all the better for it. He was vital plot driver that made Lost in Space a legend in Sci-Fi. After all Will could only get into so much trouble. Godspeed Mr. Harris, perhaps now you will find some relief for your aching back.Ed ------------------ "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." I have to admit I had an insane schoolboy infatuation with Penny...... she was hot for black and white, Judy was a little too old for me. Dr. Smith, in my opinion, was the main character of the series. Almost every episode evolved around something he had done, or something he had tried to talk Will into ( although the robot came in a close second ).Regards, Bill uzzi69 |

I sort of had the idea that Dr. Smith and the robot were the "real" family on LOST IN SPACE with Will as their child. |
