Oh well.... looks like I probably won't see the shuttle launch during my stay in Florida next month. I have just checked the launch schedule and the dates have been changed from 14 February to - no later than
21 February - as I fly back to the UK on
25 February it looks unlikely. Oh well - an extra day in Sea World!!

But, note that Feb 24 is the Glenn celebration. Something nice to look foward to!

AS of tonight, Jan 7, the STS-109 launch has been reset for February 28 at 6:53am (a nice sunrise launch!).

Oh well, I think I was destined not to see it because when I booked my holiday 10 months ago there were no launches scheduled for February - then there was - yipee!! - then - now its too late.

PLEASE NOTE: As of today, Jan. 8th around noon time, NASA has not rescheduled the launch of STS-109/Columbia! I just got back
from the Shuttle Press Site at Kennedy and there has been no decision, at this time, in changing the liftoff date of Feb. 21. NASA
managers will decided later in the week if there should be a change of launch schedule, but nothing has changed for now. Just thought I should pass this on for any future planning schedules. As always, I'll be covering the mission from PS-39. The STS-110/Atlantis launch, the 13th ISS flight, has been changed to April 4 as of Dec. 19, 200l, in case anyone was not aware. STS-111 with Endeavour (14th ISS) is currently planned for May 2 with STS-107/Columbia--the Freestar Research Mission--for June 27.

It sure has...check out

For one thing, KSC doesnt always match JSC, which is the true source. Also, KSC rep's wont say if they dont know for sure.
