I am trying to find out about the history of the Ames Research Center Stamp Club. We have covers serviced by the club during the 1970's-80's. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Wish I could help out, John, with further history of the ARC Stamp Club, however, I only have one major contact at Ames. I'll see what he can find out. Meanwhile, I do have all the original club paperwork, files, etc. of the KSC Philatelic Society if anyone may be interested in the future. |

Nothing yet. His email had been misplaced, but I promise to look him up again, as I have been working on so many space projects lately. |

The guy who is knowledgeable about the Ames Research Center Stamp is Richard V. Kapp. He is the one who did all the designing of the covers issued by the Stamp Club. You could contact him on: rvkapp@yahoo.com. Tell him that I gave you his email address. He is lives in Littleton, Colorado. |

What information do you need regarding the ARC Stamp Club? |

Richard, what I needed is a little history of the ARC Stamp Club. In a previous email you mentioned a Brad Gibbon. I am writing an article and think the in-house stamp clubs like Ames should be remembered for their service to space collectors. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I will make sure I send you a draft of the article after I write it. |

Sorry I can't be of any further help as my primary source from the 80's along with another Ames collector are no longer available as one has passed away and the other has not responded. |
