On Oct. 11, 2018, Soyuz MS-10 was aborted due to malfunction of a sensor. Whereas Alexey Ovchinin and Nick Hague landed with a parachute, the orbital module unrestrainedly fell to Earth from 90.3 km height. It was severely damaged, the covers inside were bent.

When the two successfully headed to ISS together with Christina Koch with Soyuz MS-12 on March 14, 2019, Ovchinin took half of his private Soyuz MS-10 flown covers into ISS where they were postmarked and signed by all 12 ISS Expedition 59, 60 and 61 crew members including Hazzaa AlMansoori from UAE.

Ovchinin remarked on the flap in Russian language: “This envelope was on board 'Soyuz MS-10,' it was delivered to ISS with 'Soyuz MS-12.'" The remaining covers remained at least temporarily without a signature or cancellation.

Excellent post, good to see a cover from both flights.

The Expedition 57 cover below was flown on-board MS-10 only and certified at the top by Ovchinin. It is hand numbered on the reverse, #4 out of 5 total carried on the flight.

Is it known why the MS-10 mail did not receive a cancellation?

There was neither a cancellation device on board of Soyuz MS-10 nor enough time to cancel any cover. The whole spaceflight took less than 20 minutes.

Do you know if any Soyuz MS-10 covers are available to collectors?

Shown below the another kind of cover flown on board Soyuz MS-10. It is hand numbered on the reverse 6/12 which means 12 covers were flown.

As Walter said, not postmark on board Soyuz MS-10 nor covers were cancelled on Earth after failed launch.
