Russian private bank - VOSTOK, in 1993 announced about creation of a private satellite telecommunication network, that should combine 16 satellites. First of them was planned to be launched by the end of 1993. While attracting quite a lot of funds, nothing was done in 1993 not in 1994, and in 1995 VOSTOK announced bankruptcy, that was approved by a regional court in 1996.

Below cover with bank VOSTOK cachet and Kapustin Yar cancellations, was a part of marketing material of the "paper based" satellite network that made many people to loose money.
