Here are a couple of covers which are a bit of a mystery.

The top one was likely produced by someone on the Space Coast with the initials of DLF. The bottom one was maybe a philatelic society production?

Top cover was a cachet production of former USPS worker (now deceased) Dave Finney of Cocoa/Rockledge, FL.

Dave was one of the earlier Space Coast area cover servicers and cachet cover producers throughout the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo/Skylab program years.

Here are a couple more.

Regarding the top one that cachet was likely from KSC and was "Cape Kennedy Toys" a space-related operation or a toy store that happened to be located at the Cape? The bottom one was once again a localized philatelic society special issue?

Top cover is a very popular issue, actually, one of the best cachet covers to have for man's first lunar landing voyage.

It was produced by the NASA Exchange Council at Kennedy Space Center, mainly for their on-base employee stores.

The Apollo 11 crew itself acquired hundreds of the same issue for their personal uses (crew insurance cover #3 type) and with others actually making the rocket ride with the crew all the way to the moon and back!

The second depicted cachet cover was from the Upper Miami Valley Stamp Club in Piqua, Ohio, as indicated on the cachet itself.

The cachets were produced in two colors; red and blue, and were mostly used for Neil Armstrong hometown 1969 postal cancellations in Wapakoneta and other nearby locations throughout Ohio.

All times are CT (US)
