On Sept. 4, 1935, Karl Roberti launched his postal rocket-plane RV-3. EZ notes a 15 Fr rocket stamp. How does this rocket stamp look like? Did anybody of you ever see a flown item with this rocket stamp? |

Walter, I can give you the following explication: - In the EZ cat mentionning the 15 FR. This is a fault an error. The stamps normally used in the 1930s had a face value from 1 cent to 1 frank.
- The value used at these times were 10 cent to send a letter, sometimes due to weight heigher values were used. This by using several other stamps.
- I made some research in my Belgian collection, from 1919 till and no furher than 1935 ( cover date) I did not found one stamps with the value of 15 fr. (that was an enourmous amount at that time. (15 fr is now about 50 eurocent).
- All the covers I've seen have or the 5 cent stamp (orange), the 10 cent (olive).
The series of stamps emitted in Belgium in 1932 regarding the covers were for the values of 1 cent, 2, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 75 cent.I got a cover RV3 in my collection (2x5 cent [orange]). |

Bart, I am referring to the rocket stamps (which are Cinderellas) rather than to postage stamps. | |
