Tomorrow is the last day so I thought I would bring this back up. The Moon Landing stamp is well ahead but if you haven't voted do so and get further in the lead.

It's a little premature but with a comfortable lead of 4,200 votes over 2nd place "Congratulations Chris"!

It's now official, they chose the moon! Congratulations Chris!
The Moon Landing Stamp will represent the USA in the International Gallery Exhibit of the new William H. Gross Stamp Gallery.

Congratulations Chris and members of this community for voting it in overwhelmingly nearly 3-1 over the next closest.

Congratulations, Chris, on your winning design.

And heartwarming to see that the public thought the moon landing was the symbol that should represent this country, even with iconic choices such as the Statue of Liberty, the American eagle, and The Liberty Bell. To receive 50% of the vote when there are seven choices is an outstanding endorsement.

I would not want to contradict my friend Francis but I think receiving 50% of the vote also represents the determination of collectSPACE readers to get out the vote!

Well, what can I say... thanks to to everyone who visits this website the Moon Landing stamp that I designed came out on top in the Smithsonian Postal Museum voting. THANKS TO ALL!

It really is a thrill to know that my stamp design is the one to represent the United States in the new gallery at the Postal Museum in Washington. My dad was thrilled when it looked like the stamp would win in the poll and he must be smiling now knowing the overwhelming response it received!

Thanks again! Chris
