The Netherlands now has its own Space Force, operational as of today (July 1).
The geopolitical struggle is increasingly taking place in space. This means that Air Force Command (CLSK) is now Air and Space Force Command (CLRS).

For the allies: 'Royal Netherlands Air and Space Force'. The new name emphasizes that the air force not only delivers airpower, but also spacepower.

CLRS covers the load better, because Defence is active in all domains of military operations: sea, land, air, cyber and space. Air and space are inextricably linked. That is why the space domain is now visibly housed in the air force.
