July 2025 will mark 75 years since the first launch from Cape Canaveral. The Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum has designed an insignia and made patches, pins, decals and ornaments to celebrate the milestone anniversary.
Bumper 8 launched from the joint Long Range Proving Ground at Cape Canaveral on 24 July 1950. That modified V-2 rocket with a WAC Corporal second stage marked the beginning of launch activity from Florida's Space Coast.

Seventy-five years and thousands of launches later, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station continues to serve as the World's Premier Gateway to Space. This special logo was designed to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of the Cape's unique contribution to America's adventures in space.
