In 1972, Apollo 17 concluded the first era of lunar exploration. This patch commemorates this "end of the beginning." The design is centred around the stylised "A" which was used in the Apollo program logo and is also part of the "Artemis" logo design. Twelve stars symbolise the twelve astronauts who reached the lunar surface.The patch measures 100 by 100 mm and will be available from Skyforce Space Patches soon. Copyright Lucreation 2021.  |

Got mine yesterday. Beautiful design and even more pleasing seen in person! Very clever way to incorporate the 'A' into the design — very dramatic. |
