Astrobotic reveals mission patch for first commercial moon landing

The first commercial lunar landing now has a mission patch.

Astrobotic revealed the artwork for its Peregrine Mission One (PM1) insignia on Wednesday (March 10), ahead of the mission's slated launch as soon as later this year. The Pittsburgh-based company's Peregrine robotic lander is set to become the first U.S. spacecraft to touch down on the moon since the Apollo missions and first privately-owned and operated vehicle to do so.

The Peregrine Mission One patch is now available for pre-order from Astrobotic's new merch store. Patches are expected to begin shipping in July.

The Peregrine Mission One patch is now shipping.
Order yours now to commemorate Peregrine Mission One, launching in 2022. For those of you who have already preordered, patches are being shipped next week.

Here is U.S. Space Force's 5th Space Launch Squadron (5 SLS) patch for Peregrine Mission One on United Launch Alliance's first Vulcan rocket.

The patch is available from the U.S. Space Force Historical Foundation.
