I've encountered the same patch twice over many years of collecting that were found amongst two different Apollo patch collections that I purchased. It is a 4" patch of a neck and head image of an alligator. Green embroidered head on white cloth background inside an orange circle with an orange merrowed edge; no tail. Is this in any way space related? |

Never seen it before during my lifetime as an avid space collector and most likely having nothing to do with space. Anybody else? |

Unless it's something tied to the Florida swamps, perhaps it's connected to this: Swamp to space. |

Looks like new embroidery to us... never seen it before. Really don't think that it has anything to do with the Apollo Program.(If Ken Havekotte has never seen it before, that speaks volumes. Ken really knows about space collecting, and he has been around for a very long time! Sorry Ken but we truly do respect your opinion and life long knowledge.) |

This may not help in clarifying the origin, but the same gator appears on this PVC Well Points patch found on eBay. |
