From Geekwire's Alan Boyle on Twitter, reporting from Blue Origin's Blue Moon event in Washington, DC on Thursday (May 9, 2019): Still waiting for a press kit, but we did get a patch... |

Very nice. Does anyone know of Blue Origin patches for sale, or planned for sale to the public? |

Given their attitude in general around the presser, it does not seem like the public is of much concern to them. |

A friend of mine, who has a family member who works for Blue Origin but who's not into space stuff himself, got a tour of their facility and they gave him this patch which he then gave to me.They told him that it had been flown on one of the New Shepard launches, but there is nothing to document or prove that one way or another. It's 3 3/8 inch (87mm) and I have no further information on it. Since there is no accompanying documentation whatsoever about its possible flown status, I understand that it will have to be considered "possibly flown."

Maybe stating the obvious (or already known), but this is the patch for New Shepard Mission 9 (NS-9), which launched on July 18, 2018. Here is the art for the same emblem that Blue Origin released that day: |

I notice Blue Origin patches are very hard to track down, simply to even document, and roughly a year ago I purchased some of these on eBay.Those shown are for NS flights 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 10. I will probably contact Blue Origin at some point to see if they are actually authentic and if so also flown perhaps.
There are also a number of what appear to be customer patches, such as pictured below. |

Blue Origin has released the NS-13 mission for sale on its website. 3.5" woven mission patch for New Shepard Mission NS-13. Features glow-in-the-dark yellow thread, representing the lunar landing Lidar experiment on board the mission. Merrowed edge and heat press backing. |

We just received our patch order from Blue Origin and we are returning them. These are the cheapest quality and smallest patches that we have ever received! |

The single thread color did not inspire. I didn't buy one. |

This outfit needs to hire a graphic artist. These are pretty dull patches. |

Agreed that the designs are underwhelming. I bought one to add to my collection to represent their effort, but will not likely buy another unless they improve the artistry. |

I did communicate my disappointment to the Blue Shop representative that the quality and artistry of the Blue Origin emblems are underwhelming, and the $12 charge for shipping one $8 patch is prohibitive and discourages future purchases.I received a reply that reads, "We greatly appreciate your suggestion. As we continue to develop our product offerings, we will be sure to take your recommendation in to consideration." |
