Is there a standard mission patch size for space shuttle missions or did they vary a lot? I see online copies of 3" and 4" patches being sold. I'm putting together a framed project using a signed photo and it needs a couple patches. If possible, I'd like to use authentic sized patches. |

4" is the official size, but could be larger like the STS-41B patch. |

Kevin is correct. The 3" versions are considered "souvenir" versions and are generally less detailed, not made as well and in a lot of cases, missing details altogether. 4" is the standard, but as Kevin pointed some are larger, and some cases, considerably so (6" has happened). | |
