Some older pins that have an epoxy coating in my collection are rather yellowed. Does anyone know how clear up the epoxy? |

If the yellow is throughout the epoxy there may be no way to clean it.If the yellow is on top of the epoxy you might find success with the products sold to fix yellowed headlights. I would buy one of these kits and apply the product very sparingly, with your fingers. Then use a microfiber cloth to remove it. I believe there are several steps involved. If you do try this, report back on how it worked. Good luck! |

Yellowing is a problem with many collectible pins. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done in most cases, since the yellowing is caused by chemical changes in the clear substance, whether it's epoxy, acrylic or a different material. | |
