I am making final preparations for the release of the STS-62A patches later this year. I think you will all be very pleased with how they look.I need your opinion on some questions to get a sense of what kind of limited edition set you would like: - Do you want the ability to purchase each patch separately or only as the set of four?
- Do you want a folio which would include the crew photo, a photo of Enterprise on the SLC-6 pad, a replica of Bob Crippens letter to me from 1985 and my original descriptions of each proposed patch? This would add cost to the set.
- OR do you want to purchase the patches alone and create your own display?
This will be a one-time offer and my only goal is to make it as special as possible. Your feedback is most appreciated. Thanks. |

Tim, have you any thoughts of designing an 8 inch patch, similar to the Atlantis patch, for Discovery and Endeavour? They would be great additions to the Atlantis patch. |

I received my 62A set from Tim on Wednesday. They really are gorgeous... beautifully executed designs that very much echo the design aesthetic of that era. The big (15" x 11") CoA is very handsome as well.I know commemoratives and "patches that never were" aren't of interest to everyone, but if you're a Shuttle fan, these are well worth owning. |

I agree! I received mine a few days ago and they are beautiful. If you ever collected shuttle patches, you need this set. |

Thank you for the compliments about the set. Unfortunately the response was less than I hoped and only 50 sets were made. But thanks to Maarten, who purchased ten extra sets for resale, some of you who still want one can obtain it. There won't be anymore produced. |

As Tim mentioned I have ordered 10 extra sets that I intend to resell. It was the only way to have the sets made because the initial orders Tim got were not enough to justify production. I therefore decided to help out. I have no intention to make any profit on them and will sell them for the same price Tim offered them. If anyone is interested just contact me. I haven't received the sets yet but am confident they will reach me very soon. Glad I could help you out Tim, the patches look amazing as always! Update 2: So far I have had requests for five sets with COAs. Only five remain. When they are gone they are gone, no more will be made. Contact me if interested. |

Looking out a couple of years, the 40th anniversary of the Voyager mission will be coming up. Only patch I've ever seen for it was frankly pretty ugly. Sure would be nice to have a good commemorative of that. Hint, hint. |

As an artist, there's no better feeling when you're satisfied with a piece. I'm not only satisfied, I'm thrilled with what Jorge Cartes and I created.Coming on April 24th, my Hubble Space Telescope commemorative. Until then, enjoy this preview. |

I need some feedback on an idea for my Hubble Commemorative. There will be two versions. One that is 5 inches by 5 inches. Then the large 10 by 10 patch with the names of every astronaut who flew a Hubble mission. Like the Apollo Commemorative the names are in alphabetical order because a number of the folks flew more than one HST mission. It will be unveiled on April 24, the 25th anniversary of the launch. Would any of you support an "Adopt an Astronaut" effort? Those who do would have an opportunity to purchase a second set of HST patches at a reduced cost. Along with your patches, you would also receive a "Thank you" card that you would co-sign along with me. The second set and card would then be sent to an astronaut who flew a Hubble mission. Details have to be worked out. (For example: active astronauts are government employees and cannot accept a gift exceeding $20.) There are 31 astronauts who flew Hubble missions so this is doable. Please email me your opinion on this idea. |

I count 32, in order of first mission to Hubble: - Shriver
- Bolden
- McCandless
- Hawley
- Sullivan
- Covey
- Bowersox
- K. Thornton
- Nicollier
- Hoffman
- Musgrave
- Akers
- Horowitz
- Tanner
- Harbaugh
- Lee
- S. Smith
- Brown

- Grunsfeld
- Foale
- Altman
- Carey
- Currie
- Linnehan

- Massimino
- G. C. Johnson

Unless, like the NASA 20th anniversary of Hubble publication (NP-2010-04-648-HQ), you omitted the HST-3B/STS-109 mission. |

Patch shows the HST with the new solar panels. So now we're curious to see this patch design. The listed 32 astronauts include all crewmembers I suppose and not just the Hubble Huggers who really touched HST during EVAs? |

Last call to place your order for New Patch Alerts 2015: 1 through 5. One week from today I will place the master order with my embroidery company. My goal is to mail out orders no later than Memorial Day. The Hubble 25th is still available. They are IN STOCK and can be ordered anytime. If you miss the opportunity to purchase from me, you can purchase either the Leonov-White 50th Anniversary of the First Space Walks or the HST25 patches from my buddy Joe Fricano at Skyforce Space Patches. Thanks. |
