I am looking for a 3D file for the Buzz Aldrin footprint on the moon, similar scale. Thanks for answer.

Here is one. You can scale as you like.

Can I ask how you are able to tell it's not to scale?

Scale is not an issue. Any 3D file is scalable to any size you want with the click of a button. I think Lightyear means that the model itself is not accurate if you look at a photo of the actual bootprint. You could ask Shapespeare on Thingiverse how he made it.
