After two years of development LVM Studios announces the first three detail sets which are part of a complete series for detailing the in 1986 released Shuttle Launch Tower (4910/4911) by Revell.

According to many people an impossible job but we managed to super detail the model and still maintain a lot of the original kit features. The first detail kit LC39S1 (69 PE parts) will provide platforms, stairs and equipment on the tower (FSS), the second one will provide details for the FSS elevator shaft and –room (13 PE parts). The third kit (19 PE parts) will provide parts for detailing the hammer head crane. All detail sets come with an extensive assembly manual.

The kits will be released beginning of October 2011. Other sets in this series are already in development. Please visit our website for more information.

Now all you need is the kit. I have one however there are no plans to build it at this time. Besides there's no room to put it once completed. I had a chance to purchase several cases of these in a outlet store in Portland Oregon a few years ago for $45.00. I didn't. kicking myself to this day for not doing so. This store was just trying to get rid of them.

I hope Revell will come with a new release of this kit. The prices are sky high.
