I am not a model builder, however I recently purchased a series of technical drawings from Glenn Johnson at Real Space Models. I intend to use them as reference material for space paintings. Most space modellers likely know this, but others who just wish to purchase a series of excellent technical drawings, these are the ones to get. David Weeks draughtsmanship it outstanding and the quality of the printing is excellent. I picked up several sets: - Skylab
- Gemini
- Apollo Spacecraft and Supplemental which includes the Lunar Module
- Saturn 1B
I did not pickup the Saturn V and Mercury to complete the set. I wish I had. Another time. All the drawings or outstanding but I wish I had bought the the Skyklab drawings in the fall. I would have had the 8 remaining crew sign one of the sheets and had it framed. They are that good. I hate to use the drawings for fear of ruining them. Glenn Johnson's Real Space Models offer excellent service and the price for these drawings was outstanding. |

I'm considering having my sets framed or laminated. They really are fantastic. | |
