As promise, the second diorama out set is also done, two themes on one lunar base.

First a drilling core theme and second when the Drill Rod Holder and Stand is remove a little nice small memorial of the Fallen Astronaut. With thanks to Michael Key for the very nice design of 3D prtinting the black and decker drill and Drill Rod Holder and Stand.

The first 1/12 Apollo astronaut (Buzz Aldrin version) diorama Omega watch storage box is ready. Something else this time, the beautiful 1:12 Astronaut resin figure kit is from Ignacio Bernacer Alpera. Neil and Pete come later.

I have started a few weeks ago the project LRV 1/6, 50% styreen work and 50% 3D printing parts.

The 3D design parts are from Vincent Meens and moon tools from Michael Key, a ton of info from Karl Dodenhoff and blueprints from Richard Payne.

It will take some time when it is ready. I'm now on 50% when it is done the end result. Parts are to buy by Shapeways.

Bravo Vincent too!! As a CAD guy I'm blown away by the work he's done.

When I visited Ferenc Pavlics he brought out the 1/6th model he built and drove into von Braun's office. It even had a box representing the LM's storage quad! Don't forget that! Here's a great article showing the model.

Wow, really amazing work. I just finished my 1/12 3D LRV. This one is double the size, and just as mind blowing.

The stand you have made to go along with this is fantastic, as I found with mine, that chassis weight alone plus now with the Shapways astronaut can't be held on those struts here on earth.

Its a really nice touch. The detail in the wheels is so fine, great work Pascal.
