A few hours and we are again in July and is than the forty year anniversary of the first lunar landing of Apollo 11. This time I have three Apollo astronauts in the same position with brass self-made tools, lunar surface and two astronauts has also a camera. The building was 600 hours for all three and the material cost where euro 200 - each astronaut... I hope you like the photos with a link of the building progress :

Bravo! What an absolutely excellent slide show you have. The quality of the astronauts makes one feel like they're real. Bill Space Emblem Art |

Pascal, beautiful models. Did you match each of the PGAs and PLSS for each of the EVA's specific missions (A-7L, A-7LB)? It was difficult to discern in your photos. Again, really nice work. Steve |

Thanks people. Yes Steve, they are all the same with details. I must say I have try to heat up this resin arm and legs parts and try to change the position, but this won't work, the structure get lost and even it will be broken. I think it was from a another material as thermal plastic I had can change the form. Only Alan Shepard has not a camera. I have looking a lot on photos of he has carried also such camera when he was playing golf on the moon? One of the astronauts I keep for myself two I will sell, otherwise I keep no space left in my house... |

I have been blessed by obtaining one of Pascal's trio, the Dave Scott. He has a home in one of our display cabinets. If you look at the first photo you will see a picture on the wall in the top left corner. That is Dave Scott with the LRV. This is also signed by Scott. I am hoping to have him sign the base of this figure at the ASF in KSC this fall.

A few months ago I had a series of three astronaut dioramas ready and placed on this site. They were very quick sold, see above, soon after it was requested and whether I could make more. I have made 10 extra in different styles and sizes. This time I have the attitude of each astronaut also change, I have the position of the legs and arms by changing them to break. I have now made two big dioramas, seven little basic versions and one big 1/8 resin Apollo 11 astronaut rebuilt by changing to a Alan Shepard Apollo 14. Here the first end result of one big diorama, the theme called "The Hammer and the Feather of Apollo 15", only the pins are missing they have not arrived from the USA... And a photo of one of the seven little basic versions with acrylic mirror display. Only this time I have the models made on a way that custumers can self put three big parts together as the Code 3 Collectibles, by the last shipping of two fixed astronauts to the USA, they both where damage by USPS post. The end result of the other big diorama and 1/8 Alan Shepard version will come later. Here's a slideshow...

Superb indeed, is the large Apollo 14 made of the same Revell kit used for the Apollo 11 Armstrong? |
